Hannah (Stout) grew up in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois playing sports and creating art. From a young age, she loved to watch her grandmother design layouts for the local newspaper and draw incredible portraits of family and friends. Moments like these inspired Hannah to combine her own love of art into a career where she could help people—and in her own way, make the world a better, more beautiful place.
In 2007, a full ride volleyball scholarship brought her to the University of Tulsa where she studied Graphic Design under Teresa Valero. There she gained exceptional real-world experience through programs like Third Floor Design, which provides professional design work for non-profits in the Tulsa community. She graduated cum laude in 2011 with a BFA in Graphic Design and minors in Spanish and Art History.
At TU, Hannah also met her future husband and business partner Lucas Forsythe who studied English and Creative Writing. It wasn’t long before the two were collaborating on projects and dreaming of a future working together.
After college, Hannah worked for local advertising agency New Day Media. There, the small business hustle quickly grew her into jack of all trades, creating logos, print designs, websites, apps, video, and more. Later she worked for Tulsa’s News on 6 where she advanced her knowledge of web design, creating content for the #1 news website in the state.
After the arrival of their first-born son Miles in 2014, Hannah transitioned to work under the Forsythe Creative name. Together, she and Lucas served non-profits and small businesses in Tulsa and around the country, creating brands, websites, and marketing materials.
“When clients win, we win. I get such a high from enabling them to do what they were clearly meant to do. It’s such a great feeling when you can help good people and their businesses succeed.”
In 2018, the Forsythes packed up the family and their business to move back to Lucas’ hometown of Austin. They continue to keep strong ties with their community of clients in Tulsa and elsewhere around the world.
Hannah loves equipping clients with thoughtful designs that best represent their brand. She loves finding out what makes each client unique so she can enable them to put their best foot forward. Seeing her clients succeed in the their business gives her purpose, and she loves giving clients all the materials they need to be eye-catching and clear.
